This session, geared towards upper elementary teachers, will explore the
subjects’ teachers teach and how to teach these subjects. With discussion time, followed by
hands on exploration, participants will explore ways to engage students around content
standards and use best practices for instruction and creation of application assignments.
Participants will leave empowered with ideas to apply content across disciplines and with
resources to continue their own learning about the content they may teach.
