In this session, we will focus on how student engagement is one of the most effective strategies
to a positively managed classroom. Student engagement begins with knowing students well and
planning lessons that will keep them wanting to learn more! We will work together to identify
essential components of a highly engaging lesson and, using the Architecture of Accomplished
Teaching as a guide, how to apply these components to any grade level or content area.
