Preparing children for the future has never been more about skills and less about memorized
content than it is today. At the root of problem solving and critical thinking is the human skill of
empathy. This session will introduce the role of empathy in problem solving and walk future
teachers through a hands-on, design thinking crash course. Participants will engage with their
peers and work with their hands to empathize and design a purposeful prototype.
