Want to have a well-managed classroom? Engagement is key!

In this session, we will focus on how student engagement is one of the most effective strategies
to a positively managed classroom. Student engagement begins with knowing students well and
planning lessons that will keep them wanting to learn more! We will work together to identify
essential components of a highly engaging lesson and, using the Architecture of Accomplished
Teaching as a guide, how to apply these components to any grade level or content area.

The Superpower of Mindfulness: How to use Mindfulness to Improve Your Students, Your Practice, and Yourself

The power of mindfulness starts with yourself. This session will give you a window into the
possibilities of how practicing mindfulness at the elementary level can support you as an
educator and allow you to explore the opportunities how to apply these adopted skills.
Ultimately, this session will help you understand the When, Why, and How mindfulness in the
classroom can improve your students learning, classroom management, and school culture.
