Tari Popham is the proud Principal of the Sinagua Middle School Mustangs. She grew up
in Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse. She moved to Arizona
right out of college and got her first job teaching PE in the former Flagstaff Middle
School. She taught PE and coached basketball, volleyball, and softball. Tari then moved
to Mt. Elden Middle School where she taught PE and dance for 22 years, coached varsity
softball at Coconino High School, and coached numerous sports at the Middle
School level. Eleven short years ago she became the assistant principal at Sinagua High
School. Upon the district closing several schools, Ms. Popham was named the principal
of the new Sinagua Middle School nine years ago.
